Weather delays and cancellations
All flights in the Khumbu run under visual flight rules and depart only when it is safe. If your flight is delayed or cancelled for weather, we reschedule you on the next available departure or day — or you can opt for a refund of the unflown sector.
Helicopter backup
If an airline flight is cancelled, a helicopter can often still operate. We can arrange a shared seat or private charter at the then-current fare.
Changes and cancellations by you
Date changes and cancellations are handled according to the terms confirmed with your booking, because operator and airline conditions vary by route and season. Tell us as early as possible so we can protect your fare.
Build a buffer day before international flights and carry travel insurance that covers delays and helicopter evacuation.
