How helicopter prices work
Helicopters are charged per aircraft, not per person. A fixed aircraft cost is divided among passengers, so more people sharing means a lower per-person rate. Altitude matters too: higher landing zones reduce payload, which can mean extra flights and a higher overall cost.
What a helicopter fare includes
A helicopter charter operated by a CAAN licensed company; a professional high-altitude pilot; fuel and refuelling where required; CAAN taxes and official aviation surcharges; standard helipad or airport landing fees; basic ground handling and coordination; and an oxygen system on high-altitude routes.
What affects the price
Fuel costs vary with route length and remote refuelling points. Weather delays can extend flight time. Peak seasons (March–May and September–November) cost more than quieter periods. Final pricing is typically confirmed close to departure because weather and weight both matter.
Airline tickets
Scheduled airline (fixed-wing) tickets are priced per person at the airline fare shown on each route page. Fares differ for foreign nationals, Indian citizens, Nepali citizens and guides/staff.
Starting fares
Prices on this site are starting fares per person (shared seat or airline ticket) or per aircraft (private charter). They can vary by season, availability and demand.
No hidden fees
We include mandatory charges in our quotes and add no surprise fuel surcharges, service charges or unofficial fees. Extras such as additional baggage are quoted in advance.
