Shared seats
A shared seat puts you on a scheduled helicopter flight with other passengers. You pay per person, which makes it the cheapest way to fly by helicopter. Departure times are fixed per route, and the flight leaves when enough seats are confirmed and conditions allow.
Private charters
A private charter is the whole aircraft for your group, priced per aircraft rather than per person. You get more control over timing and the flight is just for your party. The per-person cost falls as the group grows, up to the aircraft's capacity.
Which is better value?
- 1–2 travellers: a shared seat is usually the better value.
- Groups and families: compare the private charter price divided by your group size against shared seats — the charter is often competitive.
- Fixed schedule or flexible? If you need to fly at a specific time, choose private.
Use the price calculator to compare both for any route.
Altitude affects payload. Higher landing zones can mean fewer passengers or extra flights, which changes the price. We confirm the final fare before you pay.
